Mangaluru: Lawyer found dead at his residence; Police request help to trace his relatives

Mangaluru: The dead body of a well-known lawyer was found in a decomposed state at his residence in the city on Tuesday, police said.

The deceased has been identified as B. Harish Acharya (60).

His body was found partially decomposed state in his house in Bejai Barebail on Tuesday morning.

Harish Acharya reportedly attended the court proceedings on Friday. The police suspect He may have died between 10 am on June 9 and 11 am on June 11. Though the exact cause of death was not known, it is suspected that he may have died of a heart attack or other natural causes.

Meanwhile, police have requested the kin of the lawyer to contact the Urva police station (0824-2220822/2220800).

The mortal remains have been kept at the mortuary of Wenlock Hospital.
