Kadaba: Gang assaults family over land dispute

Kadaba: A gang allegedly assaulted four persons, including a child and a woman, over a land dispute here on Tuesday evening.

The incident took place when the victims — Fauzia, wife of Aziz, her son Aiman, an infant and Fauzia’s father Abbas were travelling in an auto to buy medicine for the child.

At this time their neighbors Majid, Ashraf and Abbas intercepted the auto with their car, pulled them out, and assaulted them.

The victims have been hospitalized for treatment.

Police have recorded their statement and are investigating the case. It is gathered that Fauziya was shifted to Puttur Hospital for further treatment.
