52-yo cook who left for Kerala goes missing

Mangaluru: A 52-year-old man has reportedly gone missing after having left for Kerala on July 6. A complaint in this regard has been lodged at Barke police station.

As per the complaint, the missing person identified as Namdev Kamath was to perform duty as a cook at a wedding ceremony that was to be held in Kerala. However he hasn’t returned home since then and his mobile is switched off.

He has a oil-black complexion, is slim-built and can speak Kannada, Konkani, Hindi and Tulu languages. He has studied up to class 4. He was wearing black pants, a light green full sleeved shirt and had a black bag in his hand.

Police said that anyone who has information on the missing person to contact Barke station.
