Bengaluru: Women and Child Development Minister of Karnataka, Laxmi Hebbalkar warned the public to beware of a fake application related to the Gruha Lakshmi scheme that is currently circulating on social media platforms.
The minister confirmed that no official application forms have been released for the Gruha Lakshmi scheme yet. Miscreants are attempting to mislead the public by disseminating fraudulent applications, she said.
Laxmi Hebbalkar added that authorities have been instructed to swiftly address the menace of these fake applications.
To ensure the legitimacy of the application process, Minister Hebbalkar emphasized that registration for the Grihalakshmi scheme should only be done through authorized channels such as Bengaluru One, Karnataka One, Grama One, and Bapuji Seva Kendras.
