In response to their involvement in recent cases of moral policing, three pro-Hindu organization activists, namely Balachandra Attavar, Ganesh Attavar, and Jayaprasant Shaktinagar, have been served with exile notices. The notices, issued by the authorities, require the activists to appear before the Law and Order Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district and justify why they should not be deported.
The incidents in question include the Sultan Jewelry and Maroli Holi celebrations, which attracted significant attention due to the activists’ actions. As per the show cause notice, these individuals are likely to face official exile for a duration of one year.
The City Police Commissioner, Kuldeep Jain, confirmed that the police station had proposed the deportation of the three activists involved in the so-called “moral police incidents.” Based on the proposal, the authorities issued the notices and informed the individuals of the impending deportation process.
