Manipal police bust prostitution racket: Two arrested, one on the run

Manipal: In response to information regarding illegal prostitution activities taking place at a residence here, the city police conducted a raid and arrested two individuals.

The arrested have been identified as Salamat and Chandra. Another person involved, Khalid, managed to evade arrest and is currently absconding.

Based on credible information, police obtained a search warrant and raided the house named ‘Bhavani’, located in Vidyaratna Nagar.

During the raid, the police seized four mobile phones, 10,000 rupees in cash, a car, and two two-wheelers from the accused involved in the illicit activities.

A case has been registered at the Manipal police station in connection with the incident.
