Bus-scooty collision leaves one dead in Hiriyadka

A man died on the spot after a collision between a private bus and a scooty occured in Hiriyadka.

The victim was identified as Krishna Poojary, aged 60, who was riding the scooty towards Udupi with Bhoja Shetty.

Tragically, a private bus traveling in the direction of Karkala collided with Krishna Poojary’s scooty, resulting in a fatal accident. Krishna Poojaru succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Pillion rider Bhoja Shetty also suffered severe injuries in the devastating collision and was promptly rushed to a hospital in Manipal for medical treatment.
