A case has been filed at the Kavoor police station following an incident where an unidentified individual allegedly duped a petrol pump and made off without paying for a full tank of petrol.
On June 20, an unknown person drove a blue color Renault car into a petrol pump in Kavoor and requested a full tank of petrol. The pump attendant dutifully filled the car’s tank, amounting to Rs 4,100.
However, in a shocking turn of events, the individual fled the scene without settling the bill and sped away towards Kavur Junction.
As the petrol pump attendant rushed after the car to confront the driver, it was discovered that the vehicle had neither front nor rear registration number plates, making it difficult to identify the culprit or the car’s ownership.
