In a significant crackdown on drug peddling, city police successfully apprehended two suspects involved in the illegal sale of ganja.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdul Rahim, also known as Chappe Tanni Rahim, aged 43, and Mohammad Ashraf, known as Kariya, aged 47. Both hail from Kasaba Bengre, Mangalore.
During the operation, the accused were taken into custody, and a considerable amount of contraband was seized. The haul included 3 kilograms and 378 grams of ganja, along with Rs 4,940 in cash. Additionally, a scooter used for transporting the illegal substances was also impounded.
