M’luru: Speeding car jumps divider, hits two-wheeler

Mangaluru: A two-wheeler rider sustained injuries after a car coming from the opposite side of the road jumped the divider and rammed into his scooter near Kapikad of Thokkottu on NH 66 here.

Luckily, the scooter rider who was proceeding towards Thokkottu from Kolya sustained minor injuries in the mishap.

It is gathered that the car was speeding and jumped the divider after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The car got stuck in a roadside trench after colliding with the scooter. Its occupants abandoned the car and fled from the spot.

Mangaluru South Traffic Police registered a case.
