Karwar: Infant puts mobile charging wire in his mouth, dies of electrocution

Karwar: In a tragic incident, an eight-month-old infant died of electrocution after he put a mobile charging wire in his mouth.
Reportedly, the infant’s parents Santosh Kalgutkar and Sanjana of Siddar village had kept the phone on charging. Later, they removed the phone from charge but forgot to put off the switch.
Meanwhile, the infant playfully put the charger into its mouth and got electrocuted. The baby was rushed to a hospital but could not be saved.
A case has been registered at Karwar rural station.
