College video case: CID team arrives in Udupi

A team led by CID DVYSP Anjumala Naik conducted a visit to the District Superintendent of Police’s office on Tuesday, following a state government order to transfer the investigation into the case of video recording in a private paramedical college’s toilet to the CID.

The District Superintendent of Police, Hake Akshay Machindra, along with Additional Superintendent of Police Siddalingappa and the investigating officer Billiyappa, handed over both the incident details and investigation reports to the CID team. Consequently, Anjumala Naik will now assume the role of the investigating officer in this case.

The uproar surrounding the alleged video recording in the toilet of a private paramedical college in Udupi had gained significant attention within the state.
