Bantwal: Man electrocuted while mowing grass, dies

A person lost his life to electric shock while mowing green grass using a machine within a residential compound in Bogodi, Melakar.
The deceased has been identified as Yamanappa (38), hailing from Bagalkote. He was cutting grass with a mechanical device in the yard of Saifuddin, a resident of Guddeyangadi.
The yard has a borewell and Yamanappa inadvertently cut the electrical connection wire linked to the submerged pump. Tragically, Yamanappa succumbed on the spot as a result of the powerful electric shock.
His body has been transferred to Bantwal Government Hospital.
