KSRTC bus gets stuck in ditch on Bisile Ghat!

The wheels of a KSRTC bus got stuck in a ditch while navigating a turn near the Sri Chowdeshwari Amman temple on the Kulkunda-Bisile Ghat road in Subramanya during the early hours of Sunday blocking the road..
The bus was en route from Bengaluru to Mangaluru via Arakalagudu on the Santhe – Kukke Subramanya route. Around dawn on Sunday, the rear wheel of the bus slid off the road and got wedged in a deep ditch at a turn near Bisile.
Passengers complained that a crane was promised to help lift the bus, but assistance was not provided. As a result, the bus remained stuck until noon, leaving passengers stranded.
Among the passengers were individuals traveling to Mangaluru for medical treatment, as well as young children, all of whom suffered due to the incident.
Passengers expressed their frustration regarding the authorities’ negligence in failing to make alternative arrangements. The location of the incident is situated amidst a forest area, where wild animals also roam.
The road was blocked due to the mishap, leading to traffic snarls. Officials have assured that efforts are underway to clear the bus in the afternoon.
