Mangaluru: 3 persons arrested for peddling drugs

Pandeshwar police have arrested three persons who were selling the banned drug MDMA.

The accused have been identified as Abdul Raouf (29),  a resident of Talapadi, Ubaid K (21), a resident of Panur in Kannur, and Mohammad Irshad (21), a resident of Chikkamagaluru’s Mudigere.

They were arrested on Friday from Jeppu Majila Road while trying to sell MDMA. As much as  5.071 grams of MDMA worth Rs 13,750 and cash, weighing scale, mobile phones, and 2 two-wheelers were confiscated from their possession. Total value of the seized goods is estimated to be Rs 1.77 lakhs, police added.
