Ullal: Ganja user arrested for creating nuisance; video goes viral

Ullal: A man was arrested in a dramatic fashion for creating a nuisance on the road allegedly under the influence of ganja (cannabis) on Sunday.

The Konaje police have identified the accused to be Aboobacker Siddique (24) a resident of Mukkacheri in Ullal.

According to sources, Siddique create quite a scare as he was driving a motorbike rashly. He was found with a knife and a stone, creating panic in the area.

Local residents informed the Konaje police. During the standoff with the police, an ex-serviceman named Santhosh caught hold of a visibly riled Siddique from behind, leading to his arrest.

Siddique had allegedly consumed ganja at the time of the incident.

A video of the dramatic arrest has since gone viral on social media.
