Kadiyali Yashoda Upadhyaya no more

Kadiyali Yashoda Upadhyaya (89), the former Dharmadarshi of Kadiyali Sri Mahishamardini temple, breathed her last on the morning of August 22, 2023, due to a cardiac arrest. She was the  wife of the late Kadiyali Anantaram Upadhyaya, the former head priest of the temple.

Mrs. Yashoda Upadhyaya is survived by 4 sons, 2 daughters, and 8 grandchildren. She had a profound impact on society and willingly donated her eyes and skin to the Manipal Hospital as per her wish.

Katte Ravi Raj Acharya, the President of Kadiyali Temple, expressed his profound grief over her demise. Also, the General Secretary of the development Committee, K Raghavendra Kini, conveyed his heartfelt condolences, expressing the intense sorrow felt by the community.
