Puttur: 18-yo stabbed to death in daylight, accused held

Puttur: Police have arrested a youth for allegedly stabbing a 18-year-old girl in broad daylight behind the women’s police station in Puttur here on Thursday August 24.
The victim, identified as Gowri, a resident of Alike sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital but she succumbed to the injuries.
The accused, Padmaraj was arrested from near Mavinakatte in Bantwal taluk shortly after the incident.
It is gathered that he was working as a JCB operator. He stabbed Gowri with a knife and fled the scene
