Manipal: Man ends life following harassment by loan app

Manipal: Harassed by an online loan app, a 49-year-old man ended his life.
The deceased has been identified as Shivalli resident Raghavendra A Shanubag. He worked as an assistant manager at Baliga Fishnet.
It is gathered that Raghavendra had availed a loan from an online app. Following this he repeatedly received calls for the repayment of the loan. This is suspected tot be the reason for the extreme step.
he was found dead at his residence in HUDCO colony.
A case has been registered at the Manipal police station.
