Ullal: Man from Kasaragod drowns in swimming pool

Ullal: A 36-year-old man from Kasaragod drowned in a swimming pool in Ullal.

The deceased has been identified as Harish alias Hariprasad Acharya, a resident of Hosangady-Durgi Palla in Kasaragod.

He along with 3 of his friends had travelled to Talapady in Ullal and visited a bar. Thereafter, the group went to the swimming pool for a swim. Though three of them came out of the pool, Harish could not.

The surviving trio sought help from the Ullal police and fire brigade. harish’s body was later retrieved.

A case has been registered at the Ullal police station.
