Mangaluru: Man arrested for attempted murder

Mangaluru: CCB police arrested a man accused of attempting to murder a young man at Nettilapadav.

The accused has been identified as Namir Hamza alias Sameer Hamza alias Das (39).

According to police, Hamza had attacked Mansoor, a resident of Konaje Neittlapadav, with a sharp object over a house rent dispute. A case in this regard was filed at the Konaje police station.

Hamza who had been absconding ever since, was arrested on August 9 and handed over to the Konaje police for further action, CCB police said.
