State-level best teacher awards announced – 3 from DK and Udupi in the list

The Karnataka government released the list of winners of the state-level best teachers, best lecturers, and best principals awards on Saturday.

As many as 31 teachers, including 20 from primary schools and 11 from high schools across the state have been chosen for the Best Teacher award for the 2023-24. Similarly, 8 lecturers of the Pre-University Colleges have also been chosen for the award. Two principals have also been named for the award.

The list includes 3 names from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Districts. Sukumar, the Principal of Belthangady Government Pre-University College, is the lone winner from DK district. Manjunath Bhat, the Principal of Hiriyadka Government PU College, and Narendra, the art teacher at Viveka Girls High School Kota are among the winners from Udupi.

The awards will presented to the winners on September 5.
