Chitradurga: 4 dead, 3 critically injured as car crashes into parked lorry

Chitradurga: Four persons were killed, and 3 others were critically injured in a horrific road accident after a car crashed into a lorry parked on the side of National Highway 150 near Mallapur here.

The deceased have been identified as  Shamshuddin (40), Mallika (37), Khalil (42), and Tabrez (13).

The injured – identified as Nargis, Rehan, and Rahman, have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

The car, which was moving towards Tumkur from Hospet, was wrecked due to the impact of crashing into the parked lorry at a high speed.

Chitradurga Rural police are investigating.
