Let’s embrace Lord Krishna’s wisdom in the current age of Kaliyuga

On the occasion of Shree Krishna Janmashtami, Shree Vidyasagartheertha Shreepadaru Paryaya Shree Krishnapura Math conveyed a significant message to all.

He said Lord Krishna’s resolve is to establish righteousness in every era. Righteousness (Dharma) and unrighteousness (Adharma) have existed in all ages. Adharma represents the widespread influence of evil forces, while Dharma represents the highest level of pure and positive energy.

It’s important for people to stay away from unrighteous actions. When evildoers gain strength in society, it leads to a loss of health and harmony. Good-hearted individuals can be oppressed by the tyranny of the wicked, and their wisdom and eloquence will be overshadowed. This creates a challenging environment where true religion becomes distorted, and ignorance is masked as a religious practice. To combat this, it’s essential for everyone to pray to Mukunda (Lord Krishna) to eliminate evil.

In the current age of Kaliyuga, there may not be a direct incarnation of Srihari (Lord Vishnu), but His teachings are as valuable as His presence. It is our duty to embrace and follow these teachings. As we celebrate Sri Krishna Jayanti, we are reminded of Lord Krishna’s efforts to curb evil in society, and these teachings remain relevant.

Recognizing that selfless and philanthropic deeds are also a form of devotion to God, one should strive for personal well-being and societal harmony through such actions. It’s clear that promoting social welfare leads to the development of the country. May Lord Krishna bless us all to achieve these goals.
