FIR against Kannada actor-comedian Chandraprabha in accident case

A case has been filed against Kannada actor-comedian Chandraprabha in connection with a accident case that took place near Chikkamagaluru bus stand here.

The CCTV footage of the accident shows that the car driven by the actor rams into a bike causing the rider to fall on the road.

The injured biker Malatesh is undergoing treatment at a hospital. The police have summoned Chandraprabha to the station in connection with the case.

Speaking to media persons, Chandraprabha termed rumors that it was a hit-and-run case as baseless stating that he got out of the car and helped to shift the injured person to the hospital. He further claimed that the biker was in an inebriated state.

Chandraprabha cited that the locals who witnessed the mishap said that he was not to blame and allowed him to leave the spot. He requested people not to spread any rumors and added that he would co-operate with the police in the investigation.
