A two-day dharna, headed by the District Vokkaliga Horata samiti in connection with the Sowjanya rape and murder case commenced on Tuesday at the Mini Vidhana Soudha in Mangaluru.

The protesters have rallied together, fervently demanding a thorough re-investigation into a harrowing rape and murder case that has gripped the community.

Additionally, they are pressing for the presence of the district collector at the protest site to personally assess the situation and receive a comprehensive report on the matter.
