Mangaluru: 16 ASIs promoted to Police Sub Inspectors

Mangaluru: Several Assistant Police Inspectors, who had been awaiting their overdue promotions, were elevated to the rank of police Sub-Inspectors.

On September 18, Mangaluru Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal issued promotion orders to 16 ASIs, who have now ascended to the rank of Police Sub-Inspectors.

Previously, former Mangaluru Police Commissioners, Shashi Kumar IPS and Kuldeep Kumar Jain IPS, had exerted significant efforts to promote deserving Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs). Regrettably, promotions were withheld due to technical reasons.

Notably, Anupam Agrawal completed the task within just 9 days of taking charge as Mangaluru Police Commissioner.
