K’taka govt to hold “simple” Mysuru Dasara celebrations

Mysuru: The Karnataka government, on Thursday, decided to hold simple Mysuru Dasara celebrations this year. The decision comes as the state is experiencing drought-like conditions.

Mysuru district in-charge minister Dr. H C Mahadevappa shared information on this in a post on X 9formerly Twitter).

“This time the government has decided to celebrate a simple and meaningful Dasara in response to the plight of the farmers due to the paucity of rainfall,” he wrote on Thursday.
