Puttur: Mason wins Rs 50L in in Onam bumper lottery

A Puttur resident working as a mason won Rs 50 lakh in the Onam bumper lottery.

Chandraiah Kumbara, a resident of Enmady in Ilanthila village had bought the Onam bumper lottery when he had recently gone to Sri Nalwar Daivastana in Kanathur.

An overjoyed Kumbara, speaking to media persons said that his first priority is to clear the loan he has availed for his children’s education and wedding expenses.

“I have four daughters. Despite being financially poor, I am providing a good education to my daughters. My eldest daughter who is now married studied till PUC while my second daughter is doing her MBA, the third daughter is pursuing her degree and the last one is doing a paramedical course.

God must have understood my situation,” he said after Lady Luck smiled at him.
