Bengaluru: A woman working at an MNC in Bengaluru lodged a police complaint alleging harassment by her live-in partner.

As per the complaint, the woman alleged that the accused identified as Rafeeq Badshah had introduced himself as a Hindu man on Facebook and said his name was ‘Guruprasad’.

The woman and the accused soon developed a relationship and moved in together.

It was later that the woman discovered his real identity and found that he was an auto driver, the police said. The duo however continued their relationship.

However, the accused started harassing her, and unable to bear it any longer, she moved back to her parents’ place.

The woman has also urged for legal action against the accused, the police added.
