Amulya Art Gallery owner found dead

A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a nearby lake along the Mani-Mysore State Highway.
The deceased has been identified as Narayana Kulal, the owner of Amulya Art Gallery, a resident of Surikumeru, who also worked as an L.I.C. agent.
On Monday, around 5 am, local residents made a distressing discovery near the lake. They spotted a motorcycle, mobile phones, and slippers, which raised concerns that someone may have ended their life by entering the lake. Worried citizens promptly contacted both the local police station and the fire brigade for assistance.
Upon their arrival, the fire brigade launched a search operation in the lake and eventually recovered the lifeless body of the deceased individual.
The Vitla police have registered a case in this regard.
