Mangaluru: Fire breaks out on fishing boat at Bunder

Mangaluru: A fire broke out on a fishing boat moored at the port at Bunder at early morning on Tuesday, October 10.
The fire was noticed at around 5 am.
Steps were taken to prevent fire from spreading to the other boats nearby. Fire tenders from Pandeshwar and Kadri Fire Stations were called in to douse the flames.
There were no reports of loss of lives in the incident. The fire is reported to be accidental, however, exact cause is yet to be ascertained.
