Memorial tribute held for Mahesh Motors owner Prakash Shekha

In a solemn gathering held at Adyar Garden on Thursday, friends, family, and notable figures paid their respects to the late A. K Prakash Shekha the beloved owner of Mahesh Motors and a distinguished transport business expert. A.K.’s legacy was commemorated at a tribute event in his honor, with senior scholar Dr. M Prabhakar Joshi underscoring the importance of preserving the bright memory of his life’s contributions.

Prakash Sheka, known for his exemplary work as a business expert and generous philanthropist, left an indelible mark on both his professional and personal spheres.

Dilraj Alva, the leader of the City Bus Owners’ Association, lauded Prakash’s disciplined approach to the transport business. He emphasized Prakash’s role in ensuring a seamless and trouble-free experience for both passengers and staff members.

The event was eloquently narrated by Purushottama Bhandary, and in attendance were Prakash’s family, including his father A.K. Jayaram Sheka, mother Padmavati Sheka, wife, daughter, brother, sisters, and extended family members.

The tribute event also drew the presence of several prominent dignitaries, including MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Rajesh Naik,  Pratapsimha Naik, Mayor Sudhir Shetty Kannur, Former minister B. Ramanatha Rai, Krishna Palemar, former MLA Shakuntala Shetty, former mayors M. Shashidhara Hegde, Premananda Shetty, Bhaskar K., and many others.
