A dynamite explosion occurred at a quarry in Sevapur village, leaving a worker with severe injuries to his leg and chest.
The victim, identified as Siddanaik, is currently receiving critical medical treatment at a local hospital.
The explosion took place on Wednesday, with villagers suggesting that the dynamite detonated as Siddanaik was returning from the field. He suffered significant injuries to his left leg, arms, and chest.
Regrettably, the injured laborer remained in the quarry since Wednesday evening, unable to move due to the severity of his injuries. Medical professionals have assessed the damage and concluded that his injured leg cannot be salvaged.
