Two persons drown in Kabbinale mattavu river

Hebri: In a tragic incident, two persons lost their lives while bathing in the Kabbinale Mattavu river near Hebri.
The victims have been identified as 48-year-old Umesh Shetty, a resident of Karje, and 21-year-old Praseth Hegde, an engineering student hailing from Chara Hurturke.
The incident took place on October 21 at 3 pm when Umesh and Praseth were bathing.
Reportedly, they slipped and fell into the river.
Local police have registered in this regard.
