Vitla: 47-year-old man killed in road mishap

Vitla: A auto-rickshaw passenger was killed after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with the scooter.

The deceased has been identified as Nagesh Bhatt (47), a resident of Bayaru Peruvodi and the son of Suresh Bhatt.

Two individuals, named Vinod and Annu, sustained injuries in the collision and have since received medical treatment.

The accident took place when the rickshaw attempted to overtake another vehicle, leading to a collision with the scooter and causing the rickshaw to overturn. Eyewitnesses reported that one of the rickshaw passenger fell onto the road during the incident.

Tragically, Nagesh Bhatt, who was thrown onto the road and sustained severe injuries, was declared deceased upon arrival.
