Manipal: Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha Sripad of Sri Kaniyooru Matha graced the inauguration of the modernized Manipal Energy and Infratech Limited (MEIL) building on Thursday, lauding the Tonse Pai family for their pivotal role in the region’s development.
The seer acknowledged Manipal as a significant employment hub, attributing much of its progress to the contributions of the Tonse Pai family. MEIL, a key player in the construction and development sectors, has been instrumental in providing livelihoods to a substantial workforce, he said.
Sri Vidyavallabha Theertha Sripad expressed his hopes for the continued growth of MEIL, emphasizing its potential to positively impact the lives of hundreds. He commended the organization’s efforts in propagating the Sattvik ideology through esteemed publications such as Udayavani and Taranga.
T. Gautam Pai, the Managing Director of Manipal Technologies (MTL), underlined the longstanding commitment of the organization towards the nation’s progress. He highlighted the recognition garnered for its unwavering dedication to quality and valuable contributions.
The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including T. Satish U. Pai, Executive Chairman of Manipal Media Network Limited (MMNL), Vanitha Pai of MMNL, Sagar Mukhopadhyay, the MD and CEO of MEIL, and Abhay Gupte, MD and CEO of MTL.
Vishwanath Chauhan and Satish Jaddu, representing MEIL, also graced the occasion. Anand K extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
