Fire breaks out in Kankanady lodge; one dead

In a devastating incident that unfolded on Thursday morning, a fire engulfed a lodge in the Kankanady resulting in the tragic loss of one life.

The victim has been identified as Yashraj Suvarna, a resident of Bikarnakatta who was staying at the lodge.

Emergency services were swiftly alerted, and fire brigades rushed to the scene to control the blaze. Despite the prompt response, the flames had already intensified.
