Bengaluru is all set to host the much-anticipated Kambala, the mud track buffalo races, at the Palace Grounds this weekend.
The two-day spectacle, slated to commence on Saturday, will feature over 180 pairs of buffalos from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts vying for the top spot.
Enthusiastic crowds are eagerly anticipating the showcasing of this traditional coastal sport in the heart of the city. As attendees pass through Gate Number 5, they are greeted by the scenic recreations of the coastal Karnataka culture.
Preparations for the Bengaluru Kambala have culminated in the installation of three grand and ornate platforms, providing ideal vantage points for spectators to witness the exhilarating competitions.
