Abduction case: Businessman Mahadevaiah found dead

Hanur: The body of the abduction case of businessman Mahadevaiah, who is also the brother-in-law of politician C P Yogeshwara, was found at Ramapura village on Monday.
Mahadevaiah’s car was found abandoned near a primary healthcare center in Ramapura village in Hanur Taluk in Chamarajanagar on Sunday evening. Reportedly, blood stains were discovered in the vehicle, prompting intensified police investigations.
For the past two days, the Channapatna police have been trying to trace Mahadevaiah’s whereabouts.
It is gathered that Mahadevaiah, who had been missing for the past four days, was found in a forested area near Ramapura village. the body was found to be bludgeoned by a stone, face covered with a cloth, and thrown from a height of about 50 feet.
The motive behind the abduction and killing remains unknown. Police, meanwhile, are continuing the probe.
