Bengaluru: ATM robbery attempt ends in fire; Thieves flee leaving behind tools

In a recent incident on the outskirts of Nelamangala, an attempted robbery at an ATM resulted in fire as thieves used a gas cutter.

The incident came to light when bank officials in Mumbai, upon reviewing CCTV footage, contacted the building owner where the ATM was situated.

Upon receiving the information, the building owner rushed to the scene to inspect the situation. To their surprise, the owner discovered a gas cutter and iron rods left behind by the fleeing thieves.

CCTV footage revealed the involvement of two thieves in the attempted robbery. The Nelamangala police have registered a complaint and are actively investigating the incident.
