On Thursday morning, the 22-year-old victim boarded the metro train at Rajajinagar station. When the train arrived at Nadaprabhu Kempegowda station, it got crowded and at this time the victim felt a man touch her.

She however ignored it thinking that it was accidental due to the crowd on the train. When the accused groped her again she raised an alarm. At this time the train reached Majestic station and Lokesh immediately disembarked and attempted to flee the spot.

However, his attempt failed as the metro personnel responded to the alarm raised by the victim and fellow commuters and apprehended Lokesh.

At that time, the police had confiscated 20 mobile phones and a two-wheeler from him. Subsequently, he was released on bail.
