Mangaluru: Two students swept away by waves at Someshwar Beach

Ullal: Two students are feared drowned in Someshwara beach here on Saturday (December 09).
The teenagers have been identified as Yashvith and Yuvraj, both II PUC students of Parijnana PU College at Someshwara. Both of them are residents of Adka, Kunjathur in Manjeshwar.
It is gathered that they were swept away by the waves while playing on the beach. A search and rescue operation is currently underway involving local swimmers and Ullal police.
Ullal SI H N Balakrishna has instructed not to go swimming at Someshwar Beach as a precautionary measure.
