Sandalwood actor Shivraj Kumar has stated his disinterest in venturing into electoral politics. The Deputy Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar, extended a Lok Sabha ticket offer to Shivraj Kumar during a conference. However, Shivraj Kumar gracefully declined the political offer, expressing his commitment to his cinematic career.

During the conference, D.K. Shivakumar urged Shivraj Kumar to consider standing for the upcoming parliamentary elections. In response, Shivraj Kumar asserted that while he appreciates the offer, he has committed to several film projects and believes the artistic process holds a unique significance. He emphasized that the transition from movies to parliamentary duties isn’t a decision to be taken lightly, acknowledging the responsibilities that come with the role.

The Deputy Chief Minister openly presented the Lok Sabha ticket offer to Shivraj Kumar, urging him not to miss the opportunity. However, Shivraj Kumar, known for his roles in numerous films, reiterated his dedication to preserving the legacy handed down by his father and expressed his lack of inclination towards a political career.

Furthermore, Shivraj Kumar mentioned the family’s involvement in politics, particularly highlighting their support for Bangarappa’s daughter. He suggested that if his wife Geeta expresses an interest in politics, he would wholeheartedly support her, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling one’s partner’s aspirations.
