Kaup: Following the deaths of theatre artist K Leeladhar Shetty and his wife, the youth who eloped with the couple’s adopted minor daughter and his accomplices have been arrested.
Police arrested the accused youth Girish, a resident of Shirva from Kumble, as well as his accomplices identified as Roopesh, Aziz, and Jayanth.
Police have also seized 2 scooties and are questioning the suspects.
Girish has been booked for abduction and sexual assault, under POCSO Act, Kaup police said that the other 3 accused have been booked for assisting the accused in the act.
