Manipal: Professor dies of cardiac arrest

A professor at the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences died of a cardiac arrest on Tuesday, December 19.
The deceased has been identified as Dr. Alex Joseph (47), Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Alex and his wife Angela Treesa, who is an Assistant Professor at the same college, had been to the college together. At the college, Dr. Alex Joseph suddenly showed signs of severe discomfort. He was rushed to the hospital. Upon examination, the attending physicians declared him dead.
A case has been registered at the Manipal Police Station.
