Paryaya 2024: Religious ceremony of ‘Chappara Muhurta’ held

‘Chappara Muhurta’, one of the preliminaries before the Paraya Mahotsava of the Puthige Matha seer Sri Sri Sugunendra Theertha was held on Wednesday, December 20 morning. The ritual was held at the auspicious time at 7.45 am and was conducted under the paurohitya of priest Sri Raghavendra Kodancha.
Persnons entrusted with the responsibility of erecting the gand canopy for the Paryaya festivities including Rajesh, Muchur Ramachandra Bhat, Nagaraj Upadhyaya, and the Mestri of the temple Padmanabha, received the blessings.
Adding to the auspiciousness of the occasion, Raghupathi Bhat, the working president of the committee, unveiled the vehicle stickers crafted for the Paryaya Mahotsava.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of notable figures, including Shri Nagaraja Acharya, Treasurer Shri Prasanna Acharya, Shri Ranjan Kalkur, Secretary Shri Raghavendra Kini, and committee office bearers Shri Gururaja Upadhyay, Shri Vishnumurthy Upadhyaya, Shri Rabindra Acharya, Shri Raghupathi Rao, Shri Hayavadana Bhat, Shri Rama Kodancha, Shri Nagaraja Rao. Other respected members such as Ramachandra Sanil, Sumitra Keremath, Amita Kramadhari, Saroja, and Geetha also graced the occasion.
The event was presided over by Sri Matha’s Ramesh Bhat K., who extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the Chappara Muhurta celebration.
