Scooter that fell off the dock being pulled out of the water

Malpe: A man riding a scooter is feared drowned after accidentally falling into the water near the dock in Malpe fishing harbor on Monday morning.

It is said that he is a fisherman from Tamil Nadu and was working as a laborer on a boat in Malpe.

Ishwar Malpe, a local social worker, rushed to the spot and dived into the water in efforts to locate the man.

Even after searching for hours, only the scooter was found. The scooter was pulled out of the water with help of ropes.
