Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials conducted raids on ‘National company’ in Teerthahalli on Tuesday, January 2.
Officials investigated the National Company’s Gold Palace, Super Bazaar, and Indian Gas Godown in Teerthahalli. The investigation also targeted the owner of the National Company.
The National Company has been actively involved in road construction projects across various parts of the taluk and the state. The motive behind the ED’s intervention is yet to be fully disclosed. There are speculations that the raids may be related to financial irregularities or discrepancies in the funds associated with these extensive road works.
