Mangaluru: Two arrested for selling MDMA near Saripalla

Mangaluru: Police arrested two persons for trafficking illegal drug MDMA on Monday.

The accused have been identified as Ashfaq alias Juttu Ashfaq (27) and Umar Farooq Irfan (26).

Police said the accused had been selling MDMA on a black Honda Activa scooter on a dirt road leading to Saripalla form Padil Railway Bridge.

Both the accused have multiple cases filed against them including attempted murder, robbery, extortion and others at various police stations across Mangaluru. Juttu Ashfaq has been named an accused in 12 cases while, Irfan has 25 cases registered against him, police added.
